Abstract

An endless band (A) moves over the trajectory of the developing machine on rollers (B) that have grooves to receive the band. The band does not therefore project beyond the roller circumference and the film develops without different contrast zones. The film is glued to the band by simple pressure on the band. A blade in a regulatable support cuts the film from the band, and there is a shaped tube with a special profile that seals the film against light during the return movement of the endless band.
