Abstract

A seal, esp. for fixed or hinged windows in caravans and mobile homes, consists of two parts. A first part is a profile of U-shape is pushed over the wall and made of a low-cost plastic material e.g. PVC. A recess for the fitment of screws or nails can be covered from sight by a flap jointed to the profile by a film hinge. The second part is tongue-shaped and has elastomer properties; the pref. material is PU, PE or PP.
