Abstract

Folded sheet type box has a base comprising at least two flaps superimposed when closed, so that a set of supporting feet on one flap project through correspondingly positioned and sized holes in the other flap. The feet may comprise separate blocks secured by a panel of film which passes through the holes and pref. is welded to the surface of the internal flap. Flap and film pref.being of material compatible when welded, pref. polypropylene microchannel board. The blocks may be of expanded polystyrene. USE - To enable the pack to be shifted by straps or forks, like a pallet. Relatively simple to produce and assemble with conventional cardbaord shaping, and folding equipment.
