Abstract
Closed-circuit heater for a pressurised liquefied petroleum gas tank 1, comprising a heat-exchanger 2, 3 supplied under pressure and in the liquid phase 5 by the tank 1 and returning the heated petroleum gas to the tank in a closed circuit 6, 7, the heat-exchanger 2, 3 using a heat-exchange fluid 8 with electrical heating 13, characterised in that the return to the tank 7 takes place at the upper part of the latter, in that the heat-exchanger comprises a substantially cylindrical horizontal casing 3 in which the heat-exchange fluid 8 is forced to circulate substantially from one end 12 to the other 11 by a circulation pump 10, in that the heat-exchanger consists of at least one pipe coil 2 arranged coaxially in this casing 3, and in that the electrical heating means 13 consists of an immersion heater fixed coaxially inside the pipe coil 2 in a removable and interchangeable manner.
