Abstract

The invention relates to a device which can easily be fitted to all types of w.c. bowls, via the two holes for fixing the seat-protecting cover which is removed. The device makes it possible to disinfect the cover 5 of a w.c. by turning it back and then totally or partly enclosing it in a container 1 with a view to disinfecting it with hot water, water vapour and perfumed alcohol by means of the spray nozzles 10 and 17 which are blocked by a partition 24 after disinfection. The hot water collected after cleaning and containing disinfecting products is sent under pressure into the bowl. The device is particularly adapted for maintaining a good standard of hygiene in public places.
