Abstract

The toilet has the bowl (1) made with a circular rim and a seat (2) of the same shape which fits over the rim and can be rotated relative to it. The seat has a toothed ring (3) on its inner surface. After each use it is turned by a motor (5) through gears engaging with the ring. As it makes a complete revolution the seat is cleaned and disinfected by a pressure jet (8) using a liq. or powder material. The drive which rotates the seat can be in the form of an electric or hydraulic motor, with the used disinfectant flowing into the toilet bowl.
