Abstract

The seat is ring-shaped and rotates on roller guides (10) when actuated by an electromechanical drive and friction roller. The WC cistern contains the washing, drying and disinfecting appts., comprising a water feed and electric valve (35), a dispenser (31) for a disinfectant prod. contained in a bottle (4), and a wiper which goes over the top of the seat. The wiper is made from a material which is resistant to faeces and other substances, e.g. of natural rubber and synthetic polyisoprene loaded with carbon black and calcium carbonate, with zinc oxide and stearic acid activators and a vulcanising agent.

Description

The present invention relates to toilet seats consisting of a bowl supporting a seat window. it relates more particularly to such seats comprising means for ensuring the automatic cleaning of the telescope.

A number of devices are offered on the market to meet the demand for hygiene without providing the necessary and sufficient solution to the need.

The major drawbacks of the main proposals are in particular. the complexity of the mechanisms generating a lack of reliability resulting in significant and costly maintenance and a lack of availability of the cabinet generating a lack of hygiene. a cleaning interview as frequent as a classic cabinet seat. higher acquisition and installation costs.

Others use paper or plastic consumables in their automation, which increase the cost of use and which, moreover, are poorly controlled, leading to additional malfunctions.

The object of the present invention is therefore to propose a new self-cleaning cabinet seat system combining efficiency and simplicity by its shape.

For this purpose. the cabinet seat system with automatic cleaning of the seat according to the invention is characterized in that it forms an integrated portable module. excluding bowl.

all necessary and sufficient service and technical functions including rapid connection means. in a space equivalent to a classic seat-tank system.

It will be understood that by this portability characteristic. its installation and start-up does not require skilled labor. the times required are very short.

thus lowering the installation cost and minimizing the downtime of the toilet, especially in the event of a replacement of an existing system on site.

It can thus be installed on an existing cuvette instead or delivered bundled with a new curette. Different installation configurations are possible without making any noticeable modification to the module.

The module includes a rotating and secure annular bezel in that it is equipped with a drive device enabling it to stop. without engine stop. during untimely braking or blocking exerted directly on it. caused voluntarily or not. by the user for example. thus eliminating the risk of bodily injury and / or equipment and thus partly guaranteeing the safe operation of cleaning the telescope.

 To this glasses is added a self-cleaning cleaning module in that it ensures not only the cleaning and wiping of the surface of the glasses but also the cleaning of the upstream face of the wiper-seal. This simultaneous cleaning is carried out by a jet of washing-disinfectant product form partly dingue and firstly on the surface of the telescope by matching its profile and partly and second place on the upstream face of the wiper-seal.

thus avoiding the stuffing of residual materials in line with said seal-wiper. Likewise. a second spray of washing-disinfectant form covers the top of the protective cover of the cleaning module. this cover being exposed to possible external stains.

The fixing device of the cabinet seat system module includes the fixatioEr
standards conventionally provided for on commercial bowls. To complete and ensure the
perfect adhesion of the seat module to the bowl, a joint is interposed between the two
double-sided adhesive preformed polymer ensuring at the same time sealing and finishing.

For illustration. an embodiment of the seat system will be described below
the invention with reference to the accompanying drawings according to which
Figure 1 shows the entire modular seat system coupled to a bowl.

 Figure 2 shows the seat system alone and without the closing cover.

 Figure 3 shows the rotating annular bezel and its drive device.

 Figure 4 shows the self-cleaning cleaning module.

As shown in the figures. the seat system includes:
a tank-plate (1), monocoque and L-shaped, carrying all the components
of the seat system. and comprising in its forms in particular:
- a flushing water tank (3) forming a stiffener. supporting itself a
cover (3) forming a receptacle for a bottle (4! of laser-disinfectant product.

cleaning water drainage channels (5) to a cut forming a collection
(6) pouring into the bowl (7). a ring (8i forming an interface between the bowl and and the bezel (9) and receiving the rolling and guiding members (10-11-12)
of the bezel (8). it is advantageously made from plastic sheet
ABS of great thickness giving it by nature a resistance to corrosion by

All the actuators of the different functions are designed so that they
are mechanically independent of each other. so that the eventual
dysfunction of one does not lead to the forfeiture of others and therefore failure

The arrangement of all the components allows direct accessibility to each
of them which combined with their interchangeability limits to the strictly necessary time
intention in case of malfunction and therefore unavailability of the office.

Almost all automatic actuators are electromechanical except for the means

The surface of the bezel (9), the upstream face of the wiper seal (21) (depending on the direction of rotation of the bezel) and the cover (23) of the cleaning module are washed and disinfected respectively by the form jets (22 ) and (24) during a first turn of the telescope in 10 seconds.

A second turn of the bezel (9), in 10 seconds, is dedicated to wiping it off
seal-wiper (21), after a delay from the start of the second round flushing
water is triggered, after emptying the tank (2) is refilled, the seat is ready
for a new use. The cycle time is approximately 20 seconds.

When the telescope (9) is stopped or braked, voluntarily or involuntarily, by a
direct action on itself, it thwarts the drive roller (17) which is still there
driven by the motor, the force generated is absorbed by the spring (18) which allows the
relative withdrawal of the motor-roller group (1617) thus acting as a torque limiter.

The new seat system according to the invention is designed to provide assurance
hygiene of the entire surface of the telescope and its cleaning module so as to
almost constantly meet the needs of private users and operators,
collective and public large passage

Claims (11)

 1- Self-cleaning cabinet seat system of the self-supporting type integrating the water tank  (2) hunting and comprising in particular a motorized rotating annular bezel (9)  safe with its guidance and rolling means 1-12), a device  electromechanical drive with anti-skid drive roller (17) and arrangement  means (151618) forming a torque limiter for rotation of the telescope, a module for  cleaning and disinfecting itself and the upper side of the bezel, a cover  removable closure,  characterized in that it mainly comprises:  a monocoque tank plate (1) fitted with the following components and modules  underneath, fixable on the annular plane of a standard bowl by interposition  of a double-sided adhesive preformed polymer seal and by fixing means  using the original holes in the bowl,  and receiving itself:  - studs (10) with balls (11-12) forming rolling and guide members  bezel (9),  - a safety rotating bezel (9) whose cylindrical periphery is the  tread of the drive roller (17), the groove of which  underside is the raceway and guide track, this same underside  integrally receives a locking washer (13) preventing  manual removal of the telescope,  - an electromechanical drive device (14) of the telescope (9) provided with a grooved roller (17) and combined means (1> (151618)  - a cleaning and disinfection module (19) on the surface of the telescope  (9) and the wiper seal (21) positioned above the collection (6),  - a standard drain system (27) with electromechanical actuator (25)  toilet flush and additional manual actuator (26),  - a solenoid valve (35) and additional water supply means  the tank and the cleaning module (19),  - means for supplying disinfectant (3 1) for cleaning  the bezel (9) and the cleaning module 19),  - a device for regulating the water level (30) in the tank,  - a water tank cover (3) forming a bottle receptacle (4) of  disinfectant  - electrical supply and protection means (29),  - an electronic circuit board (28) for operating control and  means for detecting the manual signal (34) for starting the cleaning cycle  automatic. 2 - Cabinet seat system according to claim 1 characterized in that the tank plate (1) is monocoque by construction, anti-corrosion by nature. 3 - Cabinet seat system according to claim 1 characterized in that the platinéservoir (1) tank form (2) of flushing water. 4 - Cabinet seat system according to claims 1, 2 and 3 characterized in that the reservoir (2) forms a stiffener on the reservoir plate). 5 - Cabinet seat system according to claim 1 characterized in that the reservoir plate (1) integrated in its forms:  - drainage channels (5) for cleaning water,  - a collection (6) of water and materials, positioned substantially under the  cleaning module,  - a ring (8) forming a bowl-bezel interface (7-9) and receiving  the guide rolling members (10-11-12) of the seat (9), and forming a receptacle for all the components of the self-cleaning seat system and usual components of a flushing system, 6 - Cabinet seat system according to claim 1 characterized in that the telescope (9) is made safe by the conjugation of the means (11618) of the electromechanical drive device (14), such a conjugation forming torque limiter. 7 - Cabinet seat system according to claims 1 and 3 characterized in that the motor system 16) comprises a roller (17) for traction control on the wet tread of the seat (9). 8 - Cabinet seat system according to claims 1 characterized in that the cleaning and disinfection module (19) of the surface of the bezel (9) and of the wiper seal (21) is positioned above the collection (6) . 9 - Cabinet seat system according to claims let 8 characterized in that the cleaning and disinfection module (19) is self-cleaning in that it also ensures the cleaning of the upstream side of the wiper-seal (21).  10- Cabinet seat system according to claims let 8 characterized in that the cleaning and disinfection module (19) is self-cleaning in that it also ensures the cleaning of its cover (23). II - Cabinet seat system according to Claims 1, 8 and 9, characterized in that the simultaneous cleaning of the seat (9) and of the wiper seal (21) is carried out by a jet of washing and disinfecting product directed in part and first. place on the surface of the telescope (9) by matching its profile and partly and secondly on the upstream face of the wiper seal (21). 12 - Cabinet seat system according to claims 1 and 10 characterized in that the cleaning of the cover (23) is carried out by a second jet of washing-disinfectant product form covering the top of the cover (23).  13 - Cabinet seat system according to claims 1 and 9 characterized in that the wiper seal (21) is composed in particular of a molded seal of specific composition to meet the following criteria:  - absence of traces on the telescope,  - abrasion resistance,  - resistance to faeces, urine and vomit,  - resistance to detergents.  14- Cabinet seat system according to claim 13 characterized in that the specific composition of the overmolded joint of the wiper seal (21) is as follows:  rubber> natural rubber + synthetic polyisoprene  fillers> carbon black + calcium carbonate  activators> zinc oxide + stearic acid  vulcanizing agent> sulfur + dipentamethylene thiuram tetrasulfide  + 4.4 'dithiomorpholine.
