Abstract

Synthetic watch bracelet made up from a modular link. The invention relates to a system for manufacturing a bracelet for a watch, assembled from module links which fasten onto one another. The female part 3 of the link is fastened onto the male part 1 of the following link. This makes it possible to form a flexible chain made up of the two parts of the bracelet. The device according to the invention is very advantageous from the point of view of adjustment of the length of the bracelet without additional tools or elements.

Description

 The present invention relates to the manufacture of a synthetic material watch strap.

 The purpose of this device is to rationalize this production and, therefore, provides a product which is unprecedented in the current state of manufacturing techniques in the field of watch straps.

 The state of the art in this field is limited to band bracelets provided with different geometric patterns on the flexible parts, these two parts closing with a pin buckle or clasps or accordions.

 The device according to the invention makes it possible to construct the bracelet from a modular element which makes it possible to obtain the desired length.

 The relative elasticity of the material makes it possible to hang the links one on the other and, to soften or lengthen the acelet, it will suffice by simple twisting to detach the links or by simple pressure to add more.

 The attachment to the watch case will be made by a wider combined link (width of the bracelet), in which one will drag a spring bar. In the case of a very specific bracelet box assembly, the box may be given the same shape as the male termination of the link making up the bracelet.

 The closure of the bracelet will be done by two elements which come to hang on the male part of the links. In the present case, the selected system is of the fork type, commonly used in jewelry, but one can also use the clasp system with leaf or accordion.

 The accompanying drawing illustrates by way of example, an embodiment of the device according to the present invention.

 Figure 1 shows a top view and in section the attachment diagram of the links.

 Figure 2 shows the attachment system on a watch case specially designed for this purpose.

 Figure 3 shows the standard system with combined link.

 Figure 4 shows a different drawing of the standard link.

 Figure 5 shows a closure system that can be used.

 This watch strap consists of several links 1 which clip onto each other by means of a bar 2 and a housing for the latter 3. The attachment to the box is made by a link combined 4 and a spring bar 5 or, for an appropriate box shape 6 by a molded bar 2.

 The bracelet will be closed by clasp links 8 and 9 consisting of the bracelet side of a female part 3.

 The geometry of the link can vary 7 to differentiate the models.

 An interesting manufacture can be envisaged in the manufacture of modular bracelets, which has the advantage of being cut to length very easily, for an advantageous production cost.

Synthetic watch strap, composed of several  links (1) which clip onto each other, through a bar (2) and a housing therefor (3> -  The attachment to the box is made by a combined link (4) and  a spring bar (5) or, by an appropriate form of box (6).  consisting of the bracelet side of a female part (3).  The bracelet will be closed with clasp links (8) and (9) 2. Watch strap, according to claim 1, in that the setting  length can be easily done by removing or adding  links. 3. Watch strap according to claim (2) characterized by the  fact that we can assemble links of different colors.
