Abstract

The invention relates to a device which allows on the one hand any angle in a vertical plane to be measured, and on the other hand the bulk of the instrument to be reduced to a minimum. The device includes two graduated tubes 1 and 2 of circular shape and cross-section, filled with a liquid 6 and 7 and each containing a gas bubble 8 and 9. The support has a flat carrying face 11 and a reading flap 13. During use, when the instrument makes an angle with the horizontal plane, the bubble becomes offset by the same angle with respect to the graduation 0 DEG and gives, by reading, the value of this angle. The device also allows the same angle to be plotted indefinitely. The device according to the invention is in particular intended for masonry work.

Description

The present invention relates to a device for measuring the nails relative to the horizontal and their transfer.

D'autres appareils à aiguille ont, pour des raisons d'emcombrement, des graduations beaucoup trop petites, ce qui les rend illisibles et imprécis. traditional devices only give horizontality and verticality; Only high precision devices measure all angles, but are too precise and too fragile to be used in masonry. Other needle devices have, for reasons of congestion, much too small graduations, which makes them illegible and imprecise.

The device according to the invention overcomes these drawbacks.

According to a preferred embodiment, it decomposes, by a rectangular translation, the quarter circle (from 0 to 900) into two narties, thus allowing, a tris graduation scale readable, nour a congestion twice less.

The device, represented by FIG. I, comprises two tubes (l) and (2) of circular shape and section, of the same radius and graduated on both sides in degrees, one from 0 to 700 (4), l ' other from 600 to 900 (5), filled with a very fluid liquid (6) and (78 and each containing a gas bubble (8) and (9) whose dimension, in the present embodiment, is equivalent to I00 of graduation .

The support (42) of the assembly (4) and (2), made of rigid and resistant material, has a flat bearing face (| 1) and a reading hatch (83) from the horizontal, on the upper face.

The device is placed in the support so that the radius of the curvature of the tube (4), passing through the scale 50, is perpendicular to the bearing face (11)
The orotection (40) of the two glass tubes (4) and (2), of form concentrious to these tubes, of square or rectangular section, is made of resistant and transparent plastic, by molding process or others.

The establishment of the system (40) in the support (42), according to a preferred embodiment, will be done by the lower face (41), nar sliding, in a cavity of the same shape (44), provided with guides (15 The two parts of the system will be kept immobile by a blocking process not exceeding the heel of the device (11).

La figure I représente le dispositif selon l'invention. Figure I shows the device according to the invention.

Figure 2 shows in section the tube and protection assembly.

Figure 5 shows, in section, a variant of this device.

FIG. 3 represents the plane bearing face of the instrument.

The angle is read on the left edge of the bubble (8) and (9) whatever its position.

When the horizontality of the instrument is reached, the bubble (8) is between the graduations 0 and I00.

When the bubble (8) of the tube (4) arrives at position 600, the bubble (9) of the tube (2), being on the same axis as the first (8), (radius passing through the two graduations 650) , takes over at the 600 scale and allows measurement up to 900, thus giving verticality.

( fig 5 )
According to a variant, the angles can be read on the right edge of the bubble. The graduation then begins on this same drcit edge (in the horizontal position of the instrument). The tube (4) then, eaX graded from 0 to 600 and the tube (2) from 500 to 900. (fig 5)
In this case, the horizontality of the instrument is reached when the right edge of the bubble (8) of the tube (4) is on the 00 scale.

Verticality is obtained when the bubble (9) of the tube (2) is between the graduations 800 and 30.

The device according to the invention. is particularly intended for masonry.

Coupled with a simple sighting system, it makes it possible to determine the angle of descent between two distant Doints.

By successive transfers of the same angle, it allows the maintenance of a steep slope in the construction of masonry works of great length (walls ... etc) in uneven and sloping ground
