Abstract

Clamping collar consisting of a strip 1 of metal wound around on itself and comprising, at one of its ends, called the outer end, and in the vicinity of the other, called the inner end, complementary fastening means 2-3, the metal strip being extended beyond the fastening means arranged on the inner end, by a sole-piece 4 which extends, in the non-clamped position of the collar, between the two fastening means. The inner end of the strip ends in a radial fold 5 which is generally T-shaped and directed towards the outside, whereas the outer end has, to the rear of its fastening means 2, a slit 6 whose width is at least equal to that of the vertical bar of the T.
