Abstract

The invention relates to appliances making it possible to cause a fluid to pass from a pressurised tank into another tank or accumulator which may or may not be under pressure. It comprises a floating sleeve 6 equipped with an O-ring 11 for sealing between the sleeve and the accumulator. An orifice 8 may receive a pipe, welded or screwed, via which the fluid will be admitted to the appliance towards the accumulator which has the head of its stopper 2 machined so as to receive spindles 5 securely fastened to the driving component 1. O-rings 4 and 10 provide sealing between the component 1 and the stopper 2, and the component 1 and the sleeve 6. A screw 3 joins the component 1 to the accumulator stopper 2. Amongst the most advantageous applications of the invention, mention may be made of filling or checking the suspension spheres of a motor vehicle.
