Abstract

This hooking device, particularly for hanging quarters of meat, comprises, moreover, a hanging device 3, provided with means 4 for rolling on rails of a handling installation, from which are hung hooks 12, 18, 21 for hooking quarters of meat. The hooks 12, 18, 21 are articulated to one another, end-to-end, so as to form a flexible hanging chain, the hooks 12 comprising at their lower part a ring 16 equipped with an orifice 17 receiving an articulation pin 16 equipped with an orifice 17 receiving an articulation pin 20 integral with a clevis 19 of a following hook 18 in the chain.
