Abstract

The covering system according to the present invention comprises fastening means 13 comprising a fastening element intended to be rigidly fastened to a base 11 and at least one anchoring element 17 projecting from the fastening element and having a thicker free end which is intended to interact with an undercut groove 16 whose shape more or less complements that of the free end and which is made in the face of the covering plate which is directed towards the said base. Each covering plate comprises grooves 16 along its two opposite sides, and two adjacent covering plates engage with an anchoring element 17 by means of a common fastening 13. This covering system is used as a wear layer especially in loading hoppers and spouts with sliding surfaces.
