Abstract

Device for fixing the ends of leaf springs arranged longitudinally in relation to the vehicle and in which the spring leaf has a large radius of curvature in the central part used in bending and a small radius of curvature at the ends. It comprises a support element 3 which is fixed on the chassis or the body of the vehicle and which has a housing 2 into which the end of the spring leaf 1 is engaged, the said housing 2 in longitudinal section having a shape 4 corresponding to the small radius 1b of curvature of the leaf 1 extended by an essentially rectilinear part 5 corresponding to the large radius of curvature 1a of the leaf. The invention is used for the fixing of springs for vehicles.
