Abstract

The invention relates to swimming pools or pools, particularly those made of strong waterproof fabric. Application: to all pools and particularly to swimming pools made of strong waterproof fabric.

Description

The present invention relates to improvements to basins or pools made of flexible material, in particular foldable pools, in particular made of resistant and waterproof canvas.

The ease of installation and dismantling of the folding pools must be resolved.

It is also necessary that their volume and the usable surfaces are maximum compared to the surface occupied on the ground.

There are canvas pools that are suspended in a tubular frame.

They have a shallow depth because the hydrostatic pressure of the water exerts significant thrusts at the base of the canvas bag which is suspended from the metal frame which is generally made of straight tubes fitted into each other and which constitute , therefore, a parallelepiped structure. In any case, the assembly of these basins is delicate and long.

The whole is heavy.

This is why we also made inflatable basins which have the structure of an inflatable boat, that is to say with a peripheral flange holding a horizontal waterproof canvas for the bottom. The main drawback of these basins is their small useful size. Indeed, the inflatable tube occupies a large area on the ground. If you want a swimming pool 1.50 m deep, you have to make a rod of 1.70 m in diameter which already occupies 3.40 m. If you want a pool with a minimum dimension of 5m, you already need a location of 8.50m, which is considerable for amateur pools. In addition, the waterproof canvas surface is considerable, the cost price is high. In addition, the volume to be inflated is very important and you need a compressor.

We also made prismatic frames made of rigid plates that we double, inside a waterproof sheet. Here too, we are limited in depth by the hydraulic batten pressure and the assembly is heavy and delicate.

The invention relates to pliable waterproof canvas pools, characterized in that the walls of said pool are provided, towards the inside or outside, of stiffeners housed in sheaths welded to the walls and of floats of small diameter. These small floats are used at the start of filling so that water does not escape; after a very short filling, the water pressure acting on the walls; these straighten automatically and perpendicularly by the combined action of the stiffeners and the floats.

These floats are housed in the same sheaths as the stiffeners, they can also be fixed to the periphery of the basin by a hem of the wall. The ducts are closed at the top and open at the bottom to allow the introduction of stiffeners and floats.

The advantages of using stiffeners are - to use very small floats, in the case of buoyant stiffeners;
by floats at all.

- keep the wall perpendicular to the bottom.

- to prevent the wall from lowering under a load.

- to be able to use the pool with a more or less deep filling.

According to a preferred embodiment, the pool can be either cylindrical or oval; and it is reinforced by partially or completely lining the canvas.

As the swimming pool is generally coupled to pumping and filtration installations, at least one drain plug is provided on the bottom of the wall.

Solution to the problem - Industrial advantage and result:
It is understood that the swimming pool or basin of the invention is easy to implement, that it is light and that its cost price can be high. We could, in fact, have provided for a long time a waterproof canvas bowl, but filling this bowl is not easy and requires labor to temporarily spread the edges. The combination of stiffeners and floats achieve this tedious operation. The invention will be better understood using the description which is illustrated by the accompanying drawings.

Description shown in Figures 1 to 10 consists of a bowl with a cylindrical edge (1) and a circular bottom (2).

It consists of a waterproof and resistant canvas. An essential feature of the invention is to weld sleeves (5) on the walls (1) to an indefinite number and to introduce stiffeners (3 fig. 5) and floats (4 fig. 5).

In the case of peripheral floats (4 fig. I), it is preferable to fix the flange by folding the wall over it so as to form a hem which will be welded to the wall (I).

Conventionally, a drain is provided; this plug is completely
calssique and is not part of the invention.

1) Basin or swimming pool made of flexible material, in particular a pliable waterproof canvas swimming pool  comprising a basin (1) equipped with a float (4) characterized in that it comprises  a set of sheaths (5) in which are housed a stiffener (3) and a float  (4), said sheaths (5) being integral with the wall (1) of the basin after welding or  bonding and perpendicular to the bottom (2) when the basin is erected. 2) basin according to claim 1 characterized in that it comprises a set of  sheaths (5) alternately housing either a float (4) or a stiffener (3). 3) basin according to claims 1 and 2 characterized in that it comprises an assembly  ducts (5) housing a buoyant stiffener (3) whose density is lower than that  some water. 4) Basin according to all of the preceding claims characterized in that the  sleeves (5) are closed at the top and open at the bottom so as to introduce the  stiffener (3) and / or float (4). 5) Basin according to all of the preceding claims characterized in that the  wall (1) is reinforced in its lower part or in its entirety by a reinforcement  (6) absorbing the forces due to the pressure of the water.
