Abstract

The invention describes a method for the manufacture of a deluxe filter cigarette which can be converted into a standard size filter-tip cigarette simply by dividing the deluxe cigarette into two. In the invention the deluxe cigarette comprises a central filter in front of and behind which are lengths of tobacco, preferably equal in length. This multi-purpose cigarette has two applications: to the tobacco industry and to health, by offering a means which is simultaneously elegant, cheap and efficient of helping the fight against tobacco.
