Abstract

The invention relates to the novel industrial product consisting of a motor vehicle bodywork seal, originally tipping and thus with a double function, especially for the lateral edges of the ''roof'' made by ''double extrusion'' of synthetic elastomer mixtures, characterised in that in this way there is made to interact, on the one hand, and in a very predominant fashion, a mixture of fairly high ''hardness'' and, on the other hand, another which is, to the contrary, very ''flexible'', which at the same time produces a short intermediate zone 7 and an end ''lip'' 8, so that this seal ensures alternatively sealing to air and to water, of the upper portion of the doors, in the closed position, or an auxiliary gutter, by simple tipping, when they are opened, whilst ensuring a quite aesthetically pleasing overall appearance.
