Abstract

The device enabling to hold pans on cookers is secured to the latter. It is comprised of a base (1) on which a main element (20) is secured. The main element (20) is comprised of a vertical body (6) wherein may slide or pivot the vertical axis (13, 14) of a horizontal rod (9, 15) mounted on a spring (10, 18) of which the outer end (11, 16, 17), bent downwardly, enables to retain the pans (19) by their edge.

Description

The invention relates to a device preventing burns by tilting the pans, causing the projection of boiling liquids, particularly for children but also for adults.

This device is fixed on gas stoves, electric stoves as well as hot plates, built-in or not.

It consists of a base intended to be fixed by screwing or gluing on the stove, depending on the material and in which a main element is blocked by rotation.

This consists of a vertical hollow body in which can slide or pivot the vertical axis of a sliding horizontal rod, mounted on a spring and whose e-xtErieure end, bent down and lined with rubber, allows to retain the pans of large diameter; a vertical slot in the body provides vertical guidance for this rod.

A second horizontal rod, arranged at a lower level, having two ends curved downwards, a first more spaced than the end of the upper rod and a second which is the furthest from the three, covered with rubber allowing the pans to be retained medium and small diameter.

This rod, recalled by torsion spring, moves only horizontally by pivoting and allows the fixing of pots of three different diameters. It thus automatically returns to its initial position.

This device can be made of metal or aluminum.

Figure 1 shows, in section, the device according to the invention.

Figure 3 shows, in section, a second variant of the device according to the invention.

The device shown in Figure 1 has a base (1) having two holes (2) for fixing by screws (3).

The upper element of the base consists of a socket (4) having two slots (5) in which is locked by rotation, the main element (20).

The vertical body (6) hollowed out with a height of 140 mm and 12 mm in diameter, has a vertical slot (7) in which slides the vertical axis (13) ensuring the guidance of a horizontal rod (9) mounted on spring (10) and whose outer end bent downwards (11) and lined with rubber (12) allows to retain large diameter pans.

A horizontal slot (8) in which the vertical axis (14) pivots ensuring the guiding of the horizontal rod (15), arranged at a lower level, having two ends curved downwards (16) and (17), the first end (17) more spaced than the end of the upper rod (16) and lined with rubber (12) making it possible to retain the pans (19) of medium and small diameter.

This rod (they) recalled by a torsion spring (18) moves only horizontally by pivoting to allow the use of the upper rod (9) for retaining large diameter pans. The rod (15) thus automatically returns to its initial position.

In the embodiment according to FIG. 2, a horizontal strip (21), the outer end of which has a rectangular recess (22) intended to hold the edge of the pan (19), and a horizontal slot (23) making it possible to slide the curved hook downwards (24) & the best distance from the diameter of the pan (19).

The device is also characterized by a set of fixing (27) and guide (28) of the horizontal strip (21) on the vertical strip (25) in the optimal position and by a base (1) intended to be fixed on the cookers.

In the embodiment according to FIG. 3, several rods (29) (30) (31) (32) (33), of different lengths, bent downwards, mounted on an outer ring (34), slide and pivot on the vertical body (6).

A cap nut (35) is screwed and unscrewed in order to remove or add the rings (34) on which are fixed the horizontal rods (29) (30) (31) (32) (33) bent down allowing to maintain the pans (19 at different heights. The vertical body (6) is blocked on a base (1) intended to be fixed on the stoves.
