Abstract

The present invention relates to a recuperation hot air regulation device for recuperators or closed furnaces mounted in the hearth of chimneys. This system is composed mainly of a metal casing 1, in which a stop-start switch 2, a lamp 3 showing the operation of the fan 6, a motor capacitor 9 and an adjustable thermostat 4 equipped with a probe 5 are housed. The probe is housed in the top portion of the exchanger of the recuperator. It allows the temperature of the reheated air to be detected; if this temperature attains the value of the setting of the thermostat 4, the latter causes the operation of a fan 6 situated at the inlet to the exchanger. The flap of the fan 7 opens under the air pressure and cool air enters the exchanger in order to be reheated therein and to penetrate the rooms by the intermediary of ducts or mouths 8. When the furnace dies down or goes out, the air no longer being hot enough, the probe 5 detects the drop in temperature and the thermostat 4 stops the operation of the fan 6 and the flap 7 falls back, thus preventing cool air from penetrating the inhabitable rooms.
