Abstract

The invention is in the field of washing bodywork. A device of the invention incorporates in a characteristic fashion a sprinkling ramp 14 mounted on a carriage 10, 11 of low height, a guide 12, 13 for the said carriage for guiding it in a direction which is substantially parallel to that of the said rails of the gantry, a flexible hose 15 hydraulically connecting the said sprinkling means associated with the gantry, to the said sprinkling ramp, means for coupling the said carriage to the gantry 1 in order to move the latter so that it remains substantially facing the gantry regardless of the position of the latter. La présente invention est du domaine de l'entretien des véhicules, plus particulièrement de leur lavage, et elle a pour objet des perfectionnements aux dispositifs de lavage des carrosseries, du type constitué par un portique mobile supportant des brosses rotatives. De tels dispositifs, s'ils remplissent de.façon assez satisfaisante leur fonction de lavage de la carrosserie ont cependant l'inconvénient d'ignorer la partie de celle-ci qui est comprise entre les roues et qui fait face au sol.
