Le dispositif de store illustré en fig. 1 comprend à la façon en soi connue un arbre horizontal 1 porté par des flasques d'extrémités 2 rendus solidaires d'une façade de construction. Cet arbre 1 forme tambour d'enroulement pour la toile 3 dont l'extrémité libre est munie d'une barre de charge 4 sur laquelle s'attache l'une des extrémités de deux câbles longitudinaux 5 orients à l'horizontale, perpendiculairement à l'arbre 1. L'extrémité opposée de chaque câble 5 coopère avec un tendeur élastique A fixé à une autre façade de construction de façon à ce que la toile 3 puisse s'étendre lorsque désiré au-dessus de l'espace libre qui sépare les deux façades envisagées, la commande de l'arbre 1 étant effectuée à l'aide d'un mécanisme manuel ou d'un moteur (non représenté). On notera également que la bobine 9 comporte un prolongement supérieur conformé de manière à constituer tambour d'enroulement pour l'extrémité libre du câble 5 correspondant (une seule spire d'enroulement a été représentée en fig. 2 afin de mieux illustrer l'agencement).
