Abstract

The industrial development of novel products, described by the main patent application and its 1<st> certification of addition, having shown that, due to relatively significant ''differences'' in manufacture, especially of car doors, it was difficult to obtain a correct operation of their movable windows, where there often occur noises and untimely jammings, the present second addition aims to avoid such drawbacks, by combining, with the lips or the tubular ''protuberances'' for sealing, whose profile is ''constant'', over the entire perimeter, other auxiliary and discontinuous sealing lips, so as to have a ''leaking'' effect only at the lower horizontal portion, which is generally wider than elsewhere, which is achieved in a known fashion, during ''extrusion'', by a ''die stock'' of variable profile, ''driven'' in a suitably predetermined fashion.

DITION N 83 04547 of March 21, 1983, by the applicant, having demonstrated that due to the relatively large "tolerances" in the manufacture of bodywork components and in particular, automobile doors, it was difficult to obtain an effective seal everywhere and a correct "licking" of the mobile glass faces, during their maneuvers, except by taking the risk of too much clamping, then causing the birth of noise and jamming, in the guide zones then too "backward".

the present ADDITION aims to avoid these drawbacks and essentially, by combining, with the sealing lips or tubular "protuberances", the profile of which is "constant", over the entire periphery, other auxiliary sealing books and discontinuous, so as to have a "licking" effect only at the lower horizontal part, generally wider than elsewhere, while this is easily achieved, in a known manner, by a "die" with a variable profile, by the effect of a sort of "drawer", "piloted" in a predetermined manner as a consequence.

These new characteristics, as well as others related to them and the advantages, of this CERTIFICATE OF ADDITION will be better understood by referring to the following description and to the appended drawings, showing, by way of example, a advantageous mode of implementation - but in no way limiting, with regard to which:
FIG. I represents a schematic view, in elevation and on a small scale, of the two inversely symmetrical belts, of a window frame structure, of an automobile door of the type of the initial invention, but perfected, in accordance with this ADDITION, in that the lower horizontal portion has auxiliary extruded "lick" lips, but it should be repeated, only in this area.

According to these Figures, it can be seen that the two profiled belts '1monobloc', symmetrically shaped, - as in the initial invention, along the perimeter of the openings cut for the mirror, in your door and in the door and still formed, in a known manner , by extrusion of a pinch profile, in elastomer or in so-called "plastic" -I-, with a central metal frame -2- and "flocked" tubular "protuberances", such as -3-> are improved, by their combination with an additional sealing lip -4-, also flocked, starting gradually, in the zone of curvature -A-, to then continue, but only in the lower horizontal "licking" portion of ice.

It is easy to understand, that thus, one achieves in this zone, much greater possibility of appropriation, to the manufacturing tolerances and without this having any incidence, in the guiding and the sliding of the glass, on any its periphery
Finally, it should be specified that this ADDITION is in no way limited to the sole mode of implementation, thus explicitly described and represented - to materialize the ADDITION - but that, on the contrary, its field expressly extends , to all the variants of execution or application and particularly, to those implementing, combinations of equivalent means and methods, or simply comparable, in the bit to achieve, the new industrial products, covered by this ADDITION.

It will also be mentioned that in the preamble, the word “tolerances” must be understood, in the very general sense of “differences” of all kinds and for example, both during design, as well as during manufacture and assembly.
