Abstract

The invention relates to a device for holding the mast and the wishbone of a sailboard together. It is composed of a rigid stirrup-shaped part 1 placed in the hoisting direction 2 and securely fastened to the wishbone 3 by an opening system; realised on one side by two interlaced rings 4 and on the other side by a ring and a hook 5 or by two rings which are interlaced on either side, one of which is provided with a stem equipped with a clamping system freeing the stirrup-shaped part on one side. In order to avoid the movement of the wishbone 3 along the mast 7 a rubber runner 6 bears opposite the stirrup-shaped piece 1 by virtue of the difference between the shorter radius of the runner 8 and that of the stirrup-shaped piece 9 with respect to the centre of the mast 7 seen in cross-section. The device according to the invention is especially intended for easily and effortlessly rigging the rigging of a sailboard and for providing maximum holding of the wishbone.
