Abstract

The invention relates to a system for partitioning or dividing up a variable habitable internal space. This system makes it possible, by the multiplication and combination of a number of narrow modular components with a moveable technical module, to define, within the limits of any free surface, a plane for the distribution of the functional elements and cells of the dwelling. These variations may arise either during the original formation of the plane, or thereafter, in a repeated manner, totally or partially. The main components therefor are : a moveable technical module 1 of variable orientation comprising a base, a partitioning structure, a ceiling, collecting and redistributing all the technical fluids which joins all the corresponding functions to the bathroom, kitchen, WC. Around this module, there are made up five types of elements acting simultaneously as furniture and as partition : cupboard 2, book case 3, corner shelf 4, (these elements being on retractable castors) and complementary accessories 6.

Description

 The present invention relates to a system for partitioning or dividing variable interior living space. This makes it possible, by multiplying and combining a number of restricted modular components with a mobile technical module, to define, within the limits of any free surface, a distribution plan of the cells and functional elements of the habitat which is variable and modifiable at will. These variations and modifications can occur either in the original composition of the plan, or then, after or during use in space, in a repeated manner, totally or partially.

 In the current state of the art, some modular modular partition systems are used for the splitting of commercial spaces such as: offices, shops, exhibitions, etc. The modular principle allows, with a set of elements, various possibilities of @ redetermination , @ before applying the plan, but the actual results cannot be changed at will, during use; the assemblies are generally fixed by the fluid distribution networks and by the fixed basic technical volumes (s nities, vertical circulations, etc.) more and above all the components of these principles are not ad pt to the internal needs of the 'habitat, that is: 1 need to create a set of common or individual spaces and technical elements, all in a combined relationship, corresponding to the specific functions of housing.

 The system presented, is mainly based on the notion of a unique and mobile "technical module", uniting all the functions requiring the supply or the evacuation of the usual fluids (water-gas) starting from a given point unique, preferably central with respect to the surface considered. Around this technical module are composed, overlap and can be moved at will five types of "partition elements", of connection or circulation, bordering on either cupboard, bookcase, shelf, retractable table, corte. The complementary furniture (elements of trade) coming to be integrated in the spaces thus determined.

 The dimensional relationships of all the elements of the system are governed by a square modular grid; the dimension of this frame can be varied from 0.55 m to 0.6 m depending on whether you want to apply nor, Salis elements (refrigerant - oven - gas stove) meeting European or French standards.

The top of the module is open (34) above the sanitary block to allow connection of ventilation and overhead lighting.

An electrical distribution network complementary to the devices is incorporated into the module and thus allows peripheral distribution of current outlets (10 A) at the level of the lower plinth, and directiorial lighting (spotlights) at the level of the ceiling.

 'Door block' (5) comprising: two separate frame uprights, adaptable to the previous elements by means of clip-on grooves, a simple accordion door with two panels articulated by hinges with compensating springs allowing automatic return in the closed position or keeping it in the fully open position, deployed dimension corresponding to the diagonal of the modulation (for a dwelling of approximately 70 m2, 4 or 5 units are provided), the entire "block system" if its components that were not commercially available would be the subject of a separate patent application.

 The use of the system does not require any particular knowledge, it is essentially done in a manual way and only a small portable tool (wrench - screwdriver - pliers) is necessary. @the possibilities in terms of both layout and extension are unlimited, except if it is not by the external envelope and its provisions, opening and the connection point for technical fluids.

Claims (9)
