Abstract

The invention relates to heat recuperators using water in open fireplaces. The device is situated directly above the hearth. It comprises a cast-iron cooking pot 1 covered by an unattached lid 2. When filled with water, it forms the static heat recuperator. A coiled copper pipe wound into a helix 3 is placed inside the cooking pot. This circuit forms the dynamic heat recuperator and belongs to the heating network of the room. The cooking pot is supported by a steel monobloc stand whose feet act as fire-dogs and whose upper section forms a chimney-hook since it allows the cooking pot to be suspended at different heights 4. The device is intended for those with open fireplaces who wish to increase the efficiency thereof. Whether in association or alone, it forms a method for heating rooms using water. In combination with solar collectors or alone, it can also form the primary circuit of a water- heater.

Ce serpentin appartient au circuit dynamique de chauffage et joue le rôle d'échangeur de chaleur avec le circuit statique de la marmite.
