The present invention relates to a support belt
intended to maintain a young tree along a stake
against bad weather and especially wind which would tend
to bend it or uproot it or break it, if it was not maintained
The object of the present invention is to remedy the drawbacks
above above in a practical and economical way avoiding
injuries to the tree from repeated rubbing.
This appropriate plastic belt or band
is furnished with two metallic wires, of around fifty centi
meters, these wires are annealed and galvanized twisted, overmolded
in order to give maximum strength. This belt can be
also in rubber, not weathering, very
flexible so as not to injure the tree, it is also provided with
bars (3) for evacuating rainwater, bars which pile up
will be at the magnification of the tree.
Several ways of achieving it will be demonstrated here.
serrée contre l'arbre et le tuteur.FIG- I - represents a strip of plastic material
20 millimeters wide by 10 millimeters thick
inside which it will be reinforced with a metallic wire
twisted (4) coming out at its two ends of about 10 Centimeter
in order to be able while tightening said belt against the shaft
also being able to hold it by means of a tool, pliers or the like
tight against the tree and the stake.
obliques.FIG- 2 - represents a variant of this strip possan
in (7) on the back of the horizontal recesses allowing its hanging
through the opening (2) of the slide (FIG-5- in (7). The horizontal recesses (7) can be on the same side as the bars
obliques.
tuteur. FIG- 3 -. is a thinner variant with interior filling
ement of a thin metallic wire (II) allowing rigidity, tand
that the two tabs (5) are self-adhesive and can be fixed against
the tutor (not shown here); In (9) and horizontally
protrusions which, passing through slides (8-, then
feels in case of an increase in the diameter of the tree to grip on
the following protuberance while remaining jointly and severally
against the shrub. This strip (5) by its two ends, may
also be maintained by press buttons for its
fixing before tensioning, pending fixing to
tutor.
FIG- 4 - shows lv position of this band or bracelet applied around the shrub showing the automatic attachment of the cavity (7) through the slide (2) as shown in FIG-2-.
FIG - 5 - shows in elevation the two ends of the belt through which the opposite end is engaged in the opening (2) and rests by hooking on the back (6) by the cavity (7); two ends being provided with a twisted metal wire, galvanized or other, this strip will be provided at its part applying around the shaft, bars or protuberances (3) emerging from molding whose purpose is to allow the nut - also rainwater between the bars (3).
FIG 6 - is a variant for small shrubs, light and thin treks having two slides (8) coming out of molding; and inside which the opposite end of the strip (I) will pass. This opposite part by tightening will remain maintained thanks to the bars or protuberances (9) formed on the back (6) of the strip, this despite the increase in the diametrical volume of the shaft, will always remain solidly held against the stake.
