Abstract

Hydraulic double-acting jack comprising a fixed body in which a piston integral with the shaft can be displaced. The piston 12 comprises a passage 19 for connecting the two chambers 13, 14 of the jack, this passage 19 being closed in normal operation by two opposed ball valves 20, 21, the opening of one of the valves 21 being controlled by mechanical means carried by the shaft 8 of the jack, the second valve 20 opening under the pressure of the hydraulic fluid coming from the passage 19 after the opening of the first valve.
