Abstract

Device for increasing the length of portions of bread-making dough, characterised in that it comprises in combination a device which supplies the portions of bread dough, preformed into cylinders 2, arriving from the prefermentation chamber 1; a conveyor 3 which receives these cylinders 2 lined up in a continuous line, and a transfer device which perpendicularly moves the preformed cylindrical portions of dough 2 from the conveyor 3 to a conventional moulding machine 5 in which latter machine the loaves are given their final shape, this transfer device consisting preferably of swing scoops 7 activated by photoelectric cells at the passage of the portions of bread dough 2 on the conveyor 3.
