Abstract

The invention relates to power misers using exhaust gases in order to accelerate the heating of water of central heating boilers. Entirely produced from pure copper, the miser comprises two tubes 2, 3 in the shape of rings joined together by straight tubes 1 arranged in the shape of a cylinder. On each of these tubes and over its entire length is welded a strip 4. The portions 14 and 15 of the two rings do not have tubes, in order to allow the normal entry of gas into the miser. An adjustable flap 5 is fixed to two lugs 6, 7 welded to the third ring 8 joined to the ring 3 by two tubes 9, 10 of small diameter. A tube 11 is welded to the ring 3 by two tubes 9, 10 of small diameter. A tube 11 is welded to the ring 2 and a second one 12 to the ring 3 to enable it to be connected to the installation which will establish the flow of water through the miser. Amongst the most recommended applications of the invention, can be named small boilers for hot water central heating equipped with fuel oil burners with mechanical atomisation.
