Abstract

This device is of the type using a fixed apron forming a grid and a moving apron, each composed of combs 3 carrying parallel juxtaposed slats 1-2. According to the invention, at least the surfaces of contact with the objects to be transported are those of interchangeable profiles 1-2 which, made of non-corroding material different from that constituting the combs 3, are attached to these combs and, for this purpose, are provided with engagement means 10-23 in addition to those formed on the teeth of these combs.
