Abstract

The hanger and peg are used to fix vertical wires extending between a tensioned horizontal wire and the ground, the verticals constituting training stakes for climbing plants grown in a nursery. The head and foot of the hanger hook onto the horizontal wire and the vertical wire respectively, the peg having a hooked head formation whilst its shaft is shaped to resist pulling out of the ground. The hangers head hook (301) may be relatively narrow with lead-in ramps (304,305) whilst the bottom hook (203) may be splayed, and a second oblique hook (201) may provide for the connection of a further wire. A head eyelet (101) allows two hangers to be coupled and the peg may use a head slit to lead the wire into a normal downhand notch.

1.
