Abstract

Watch casing incorporates ancillary compartments for holding small solid items such as medicinal pills for ready access by persons susceptible to heart attacks etc., so that storage compartments are both convenient and discreet. In one casing design, a circular watch is mounted tangentially within a larger circular cover so that the cover can pivot aside to partly expose compartments beneath the cover without disturbing the watch face. In an alternative design, the compartments have radial outlets exposed by movement of a circumferential slipping cover which features a window or gap to expose different peripheral outlets selectively. Opt. two concentric covers are used so that compartments are only exposed when twin gaps in the covers are radially aligned.
