Abstract

The convergence adjuster is for a shot gun with superimposed barrels and an extension tube and foresight. It is attached to give some adjustment of the extension tube axis relative to its barrel. The axis of the tube is always in the plane with the barrel axis and the foresight centre. The fixing is a muzzle on the barrel with a cylindrical spindle having its axis at right angles to that of the barrel. This has a diametrical hole, in which one tube end is fitted by screws.

- la buse 2 est raccourcie par rapport à la buse 1 d'une longueur substantiellement égale à celle du tubechoke;
- la partie interne postérieure du tube-choke 5 a été butée, comme indiqué en 10, de sorte que l'arête postérieure interne dudit tube ne se trouve jamais sur le chemin de la charge de plombs se déplaçant vers la bouche sous l'effet de la pression des gaz de la cartouche;
- du fait que la buse 1 peut librement coulisser dans la muselière 3, on évite tout effet bilame entre les deux buses lors de l'échauffement progressif de la buse inférieure, généralement plus utilisée que l'autre;;
- le tube 5 est une pièce peu onéreuse et aisément remplaçable, par exemple en cas d'usure et/ou si llutili- sateur désirerait un choke plus ouvert ou plus fermé.
