Abstract

The convergence adjuster is for a shot gun with superimposed barrels and an extension tube and foresight. It is attached to give some adjustment of the extension tube axis relative to its barrel. The axis of the tube is always in the plane with the barrel axis and the foresight centre. The fixing is a muzzle on the barrel with a cylindrical spindle having its axis at right angles to that of the barrel. This has a diametrical hole, in which one tube end is fitted by screws.

réglage de convergence pour un canon ou buse de fusil de

- la partie interne postérieure du tube-choke 5 a été butée, comme indiqué en 10, de sorte que l'arête postérieure interne dudit tube ne se trouve jamais sur le chemin de la charge de plombs se déplaçant vers la bouche sous l'effet de la pression des gaz de la cartouche;
- du fait que la buse 1 peut librement coulisser dans la muselière 3, on évite tout effet bilame entre les deux buses lors de l'échauffement progressif de la buse inférieure, généralement plus utilisée que l'autre;;

2.- Device according to claim 1, characterized in that said fixing device (3,4,6-9) is constituted by a muzzle (3) fixed to the nozzle (2) to be fitted, this muzzle (3) containing a cylindrical journal (4) whose axis is normal to that of said nozzle (2), this journal (4) being traversed by a diametrical passage in which is fixed one end of said tube (5), for example by screwing.

3.- Device according to claim 2, characterized in that said muzzle (3) is provided with two adjusting screws (6,7) whose heads are accessible from the outside of the latter and whose other ends are engaging bearing surfaces (8, 9) provided for this purpose on said pin (4).

4.- Device according to claim 2, intended to equip a single-nozzle rifle equipped with a ventilated strip (11), characterized in that said muzzle (3) is also secured to said ventilated strip (11).

5.- Device according to claim 2, intended to equip a rifle with two superimposed nozzles (1,2), characterized in that it is mounted at the end of the lower nozzle (1), said muzzle (3) also being secured to the upper nozzle (1).

6.- Device according to claim 5, characterized in that the length of the lower nozzle (2) is shorter than that of the upper nozzle (1), the difference between these lengths being substantially equal to the length of said tube (5 ).
