Abstract

The sail board rigging hoist has eyelets over all of its length at regular intervals. The connection of these to the mast is by collars. The mast has, at its top, a part for connecting the halyard point of the sail. The collars are made of pliable material and can be adjusted in diameter. The mast top connection (6) is a pliable cylinder (8) with a bolt (9) through it, a cap (10) and a ring nut (7) which screws on the bolt. The sail hoist is fixed on the ring nut.

Description

The present invention relates to rigging,, and more
especially those fitted to windsurfing boards.

Traditionally, the sails fitted to the boards have
veil thread on the mat, thanks to a fabric sheath on
which has a more or less long opening allowing
the boom-mast connection; lifting the rigging which has fallen into the water
is done using a rope (standby) attached to the
wishbone front handle.

For a rig of this type, dropped in the water, the scabbard
some of the sail fills with water, increases the weight of the
rigging and makes it difficult to lift; the bottom of the sheath wears out
prematurely against the non-slip of the windsurfing board;

The devices shown in FIG. 1 include a luff (1), tack paint (3) at the halyard stitch (2), reinforced by several thicknesses of fabric a few centimeters in width; eyelets (4) are fixed at regular intervals over the entire length of the luff (1). Necklaces (5) pass through the eyelets (4) of the sail and grip the mast. The halyard point of the sail (2) is fixed to the mast head (6) by means of a ring nut (7), as well as the standby puller (12). The device shown in section in Figure 2 comprises a flexible cylinder (8), traversed longitudinally in its center by a bolt (9) capped with a cup (10) for protecting the mast head and a ring nut (7). The screwing of the ring nut on the bolt causes the expansion of the flexible cylinder (8) inside the mast head (11)
The improvements due to this invention are particularly interesting, both for the practice of windsurfing in better conditions, from the smallest to the largest, with sail surfaces adapted to the needs of each one, as to increase the longevity of the rigging and especially that of sailing.

 The applications of this invention are intended for the windsurfing industry and more particularly for master sailboats

EE.VENDICATIONS  1- Windsurfing rigging whose luff (1) is fitted with eyelets (4) over its entire height, fixed at regular intervals and whose connection to the mast is ensured by collars (5), and a mast which comprises at its upper part a device allowing the connection of the halyard point (2) of the sail to the mflt head (6).  2- Rigging according to claim 1, characterized in that the collars (5) are made with a flexible material and adjustable in diameter.  3- Rigging according to claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the sealing of the mast and the sail mat connection device, at the halyard point, are obtained by a flexible cylinder (8), a bolt (9) which passes through it , a cup (10), and a ring nut (7) which is screwed onto the bolt (9).  - Rigging according to claims 1 and 3, characterized in that the standby puller (12) is fixed at the head of the mast; on the ring (7) of the mast head device.
