Abstract

The solar collector has an exterior rigid tube (1) that is transparent and forms an envelope for an interior central tube (2) through which a heat carrying liquid flows. A metal heat collector plate (3) is fastened onto the central tube while an insulation layer (4) fills the lower half of the exterior tube. There are two rubber or plastics end stoppers and the collector elements are joined to each other by snap joints that allow instantaneous connection and the orientation or inclination at will of the elements with respect to each other, or to the flow channels.
