Abstract

The roller skates have two spheres (2) mounted on a chassis (1), one at the front and one at the back. Only two points are in contact with the ground giving greater manoeuvrability. The spheres are made in synthetic material that can be varied according to the surface on which they are used. The spheres are mounted on parallel axles (3). They are striated (7) to prevent the skate sliding sideways and the striations are pref. parallel to the longitudinal axis (X-X) of the skate. They can be regularly or irregularly spaced apart.
