Abstract

The building module is made up of panels secured together to form a unit which can be fitted out in the factory prior to transportation onto site. Each panel is made out of a reinforcing framework, the strength of which is calculated to perform the task required, embedded in a concrete matrix. The modules are transferred to site where they are laid on a platform of sand, bolted together and connected to the water, gas and electricity mains.
