Abstract

A blow moulded container for pressurised contents, esp. aerosols, is made as a relatively broad thin vessel with local bridges at intervals between the two major faces. The bridges take the form of pairs of bell-shaped depressions which meet in a common fused base. The reinforcement effect of the ties between the major faces allows the container walls to be thin enough to be technically and economically viable.
