Abstract

The clamp reduces the area of a windsurf board sail, without modifying existing parts. It can be placed in position and used while sailing. It consists of a light grip of two pivoted half jaws (5,5'). These have two fixed cylindrical ends (1A). These are perpendicular to the grip and welded or moulded. They are joined by flexible material (3) passing around the mast. A locking screw (7) and clamp wheel (8) passes through one half jaw and presses on a nut (9) on the other half jaw.
