Abstract

The motor has a design based on that of an IC engine uses two fixed and two moving permanent magnets. The two moving magnets are akin to pistons, while the two fixed magnets lie in the position otherwise occupied by the cylinder head. The pistons are attached to a crank shaft. Two belts, which are linked to a wheel driven by the crank shaft drive two further crank mechanisms.
