Abstract

The sports cup has a main cup section (1) supported by a foot section (9) resting on a base (12). It has these three sections connected by a fitting (4) which also holds the handles (5) in position. The fitting consists of a threaded stud which passes through these and also through a collar (6) carrying the handles. The collar is clamped between the cup and foot sections by lock nuts (15,16) at the top and bottom.
