Abstract

The sliding door is made up of a number of panels (10') hinged together e.g. a concertina-type garage door and uses rods (26) to suspend the door panels from frames (30) containing rollers which run along a rail (18'). Each rod (26) can slide w.r.t. the frame and can be secured in a desired relative position allowing the hanging of the door to be adjusted. The rod is pref. secured into a cursor (32) through which a screw (36) freely passes. The screw is threaded into the frame and is used to adjust the vertical position of the door.
