Abstract

The wrist watch includes a base in which the mechanism of the watch is mounted, with a circular opening in the top for the time display. Around the circular opening there is a projecting wall (4), broken at intervals around its circumference by windows (5). A frame (2) is provided to fit down on to the projecting wall, its internal dia. matching the external diameter of the wall. The gaps in the wall give it a certain amount of elasticity so that the frame is gripped in position. A joint (3) fits between the watch base and the upper frame making a seal between the two parts. The frame may be changed for other of different designs according to requirements during the day - for sports or for dress wear etc.
