Abstract

A tool, for removing a weld bead from a longitudinally welded tube, comprises a small plate, generally of prismatic shape, with concave sides an bases forming curvilinear cutting edges at the intersections between the sides and bases. The plate is mounted on a hand tool with an interposed counter- plate having a similar cross-section to the plate. The counter- plate has one planar base and a convex second base which rests against one base of the plate.
