Description

Device for the protection and prolonged conservation of potted plants and cut flowers.

Are we currently well aware of several proving systems? and keep potted plants and cut flowers.

In general, these are cages, boxes, bags, containers of various shapes made of wood, plastic, cardboard, loïd and other materials.

Is also used to extend the conservation of said plants or flowers containers "airtight" or put "vacuum".

However, until now it has not been possible to avoid considerable disadvantages, due to the frequent heterogeneity of their content.

The plant consisting of leaves and flowers which is very fragile and delicate is indeed often put in a pot likely to contain the earth, fertilizer, water, which makes it considerably heavy.

The tremors, shocks, etc. that plants and flowers can undergo, frequently damage them by accentuating their decline due to the deprivation of their natural environment.

The present invention aims to eliminate or reduce the drawbacks mentioned above as illustrated below.

According to the invention, there is provided a container formed essentially of a plastic bag or another resistant and flexible material, said container being hermetic and pressurized with gas, in particular air. In order to prolong conservation, provision is made for the possible introduction of pesticides, anti-marcescence products and also nutritious products.

To prevent the earth and even the plant from coming out of the pot following jolts, shocks, bad positions, we also plan to prevent the pot from being wrapped with a plastic sheet or other solid and flexible material, which practically covers the top of the pot, leaving only a central hole for the passage of the leaf stems.

The leaves, at the time of the introduction of the plant into the envelope, are forced towards the central axis of the pot so as to present the smallest space requirement. It is thus possible to obtain a parallelepiped container with a constant section which facilitates storage, transport, display, installation in sales stores and the like.

In FIG. 1, the plant 10 comprising leaves 11 is planted in potting soil 13 contained in the pot 12.

The transparent plastic cap 14 having a hole 15 in its lower part is being adjusted on the pot.

In FIG. 2, the lower edge of the cap has been brought back under the bottom of the pot, in order to form the ring 16.

In Figure 3, an elastic or circular rubber link 17 enclosing the upper part of the cap, creates a funnel-shaped part 18 while leaving a hole 19 for the passage of the rods.

The tension of the elastic also gives a taut upper surface 20, which covers the earth while protecting it.

Dans la figure 4, la partie supérieure de la coiffe a été retournée et fixée par un élastique 21, autour du pot 12.In FIG. 4, the upper part of the cap has been turned over and fixed by an elastic band 21, around the pot 12.

The bag 23 of Figure 5 has welds 24 along the sides 22 to create a strong and sufficiently rigid sheath.

Adequate folding of the lower part of the sheath as well as the welds 25, form an almost flat bottom on which the pot rests (Figure 6), while the leaves are brought upwards to obtain the smallest possible footprint.

The welds 26, 27 and the like make the sheath 29 hermetic; pressurized air was introduced inside the sheath, which caused a slight swelling 28. A preventive watering of the plant was carried out and nutrients were placed inside the sheath, additives for the conservation1 of antiparasites and all products useful for the conservation and maintenance of the best living environment for plants.

Les avantages de cette invention sont évidents. The advantages of this invention are obvious.

The pressurized and humidified medium is loaded with oxygen and vital elements for plants and flowers much more than can be controlled in the usual open or vacuum containers.

Plants and flowers are thus preserved for a long time, supporting without being damaged the fact of being removed from their natural environment as well as all the stresses to which they are subjected during their storage, their transport, the exhibition in sales stores.

The sheath, as a result of pressurization, determines a kind of elastic cushion all around the plant and the pot, thereby increasing the resistance to external stresses, shocks, pressures, while the cap which almost completely covers the upper part of the pot, prevents the accidental exit of the ground and even of the plant.

As the applications of this invention have been described by way of indicative and nonlimiting example, it is understood that each equivalent application of the present invention and each product produced and / or acting according to the characteristics of the present invention, fall within its field protection.
