Abstract

Simulated granite surface is provided on slabs or mouldings made from mortar (sand/cement/water mixt.) by applying a dense coating of white paint overlaid with streaks of chestnut-coloured and of black paint which in turn is covered by a coating of transparent varnish dressed with a thin coating of a mixt. of particles of sand and mica.
