Abstract

The stop has three parts, a base that is fixed to the shutter and has winged projections to mount to the other two parts. One part is a loop of round steel which can rotate 270 degrees about the base and the other part is a loop of round steel that rotates 180 degrees about the base. This has a finger grip and locks the other loop in place. In the shutter open position, the larger loop presses against the interior edge of the masonry locking the shutter open while lifting the other loop releases the lock. As the shutter closes both parts close flush against the base plate.

Claims
