Abstract

The center heating boiler has a nest of tubes arrangement with a taller rectangular part (2) a attached to a shorter rectangular part (1). The shorter part has a helical coil tube (16) inside, with a vertical central axis. The burner flame is directed downwards inside this coil. This coil is of tapered shape, with the largest coil at the top. The burner is mounted on the top (14) of the shorter rectangular part (1). All the vertical faces consist of vertical tubes enclosed by a rectangular frame of larger tubes. The tubes (9) forming the face between the short and long parts terminate above the level of the base to leave a space for hot gases to pass underneath.
