Abstract

The assembly fixture comprises a corner bracket (5) used to join two sides of the piece of furniture (1,2), and a support bracket (14). A threaded rod (13) fixed to a leg (3) passes through a hole (15) in the support bracket and screws into a threaded bush (12) fixed to the corner bracket through a plate (8,9). The support bracket is fixed in place by set screws passing through slots (18) in the bracket and screwed into the lower holes (6) in the corner bracket.

2 - fitting according to claim 1, characterized in that the cleat has a tongue which extends around the through hole of the threaded rod, in the plane of the two lateral pins, under the angle of the angle and under the base of the two elements fixed to the latter, this tongue being inserted between the third element and the first two elements by serving as additional support and stabilizer for the third element.

3 - fitting according to one of claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the cleat is provided with two lateral wings, vertical when the cleat is fixed to the angle iron and provided to come to bear against the corresponding parts of the angle iron, these wings each having a cutout at their upper part into which penetrates a means of fixing the angle iron to the corresponding element, such as a bolt, against which the bottom of the cutout is applied when the third element is tightened.

4 - fitting according to claim 3, characterized in that the cutout formed in each vertical wing of the cleat has an elongated shape.

5 - fitting according to one of claims 3 and 4, characterized in that the lugs protrude outside of openings arranged at the base of the lateral wings, and preferably an opening is drilled in the horizontal part of connection of wings, to possibly allow to insert a point or a screw in the third element.

6 - Perrure according to one of claims 3 to 5, characterized in that the different constituent parts of the cleat are made in one piece by cutting and stamping.

7 - fitting according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the first two elements are constitutive parts of the chassis of a piece of furniture such as a bed, wardrobe, seat or chest of drawers, while the third element is a support leg in which is fixed the threaded rod to be screwed into the flap of the angle iron.
