Casing according to the claim 2, characterized in that said assembly means have on the one hand on the jamb-forming elements (5 and 6), an adjusting and supporting member (14) on which the corresponding end of the transom- forming elements (7 and 8) can bear in the mounting position thereof, and on the other hand fastening means (15) such as bolts, allowing to secure the elements at right angle to one another in said mounting position.

Casing according to the claim 3, characterized in that additional fastening means (26, 28, 29, 30, 31) are provided to fasten to the sides (1, 2, 3) of the opening (4), the supports (12) of the connecting mechanism (11) projecting side-wise from the element having been laid first from a particular set.
5. Casing according to any one of the claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the connecting mechanism (11) is formed by elongated supports extending some distance away from one another, and cross-wise with respect to the elements from one and the same set.
6. Casing according to the claim 5, characterized in that the connecting mechanism (11) has at least at the one end thereof, a reinforcing flange (32) against which one of the elements (6) secured thereon, can bear.
7. Casing according to either one of the claims 5 and 6, characterized in that the connecting mechanism (11) is telescopic, in such a way as to allow adjusting the length thereof according to the width of the side (1, 2, 3) of the opening (4) to be lined.
8. Casing according to any one of the claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the means (18, 19, 20, 21, 22) are formed by nuts (19 to 22) and screw-threaded rods (18) going through on the one hand the elements (5, 7) to be mounted first from a set, and on the other hand the connecting mechanism (11), said latter one being pressed against the back of said elements (5, 7) by the nuts (21 and 22) screwed on either side of the elements (5, 7) and the connecting mechanism (11).
9. Casing according to the claim 8, characterized in that the screw-threaded rods (18) are retained in rails (23) recessed into the sides (1 and 3) of the opening (4).
10. Casing according to either one of the claims 8 and 9, characterized in that the elements are provided with lengthwise slits (25) for letting the screw-threaded rods (18), in such a way as to allow vertical adjustment of said latter rods.
11. Casing according to any one of the claims 1 to 10, characterized in that the elements (5, 6, 7, 8) are formed by metal sheets bent along substantially parallel bending lines.

Casing according to the claim 11, characterized in that the elements (5, 6, 7, 8) are formed by metal sheets bent in right-angled dihedral shape having rims (34 and 35) on each one of the sides thereof in parallel relationship with the bending line (36), the one rim (34) facing outwards and lying inside the opening (4), the other rim (35) facing inwards of the formed dihedral angle and fitting with the end thereof against the side (1,2,3) surrounding the opening (4), the rims lying inside the opening (4) extending below the covering part (13).
13. Casing according to any one of the claims 1 to 12, characterized in that the covering part (13) is fixed relative to the one element (5, 7) from a set, and bears freely on the other element (6, 8) from this same set.

Casing according to any one of the claims 1 to 13, characterized in that the covering part (13) comprises on the one hand a portion (37) with a U-shaped cross-section fastenable by means of the free ends of the flanges thereof with respect to the element (5, 7) from a set intended to be laid first, and on the other hand a portion (38) with a L-shaped cross-section the one flange of which extends substantially along the direction of the flanges of the U-shaped portion towards the other element (6, 8) from the same set.
